Meeting your future spouse at college is certainly a prevalent fantasy in the U. Blue means less likely, red means very likely. About 60 percent of all Brigham Young University alumni were married to fellow alumni, for example, and women were most likely to marry a classmate if they attended Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, where men make up a whopping 88 percent of the population.
The information collected also suggested that larger schools may be better at facilitating a match made in heaven as there are more matches to be made and that similar political leanings mildly correlate to the likelihood that two alumni will marry. All in all, there may not be any big surprises here—people tend to get together when they have a few things in common, whether personal or environmental—but at the very least, these results affirm the conventional wisdom that you ought to make the most of your college years.

I actually applied to Yale thinking I wanted to pursue a career in direct client services, as a public defender, or as an education policy researcher. Given the opportunity to explore my legal interests, however, I discovered that I actually preferred the feeling of negotiation to oral argument and brief writing, and that corporate law fascinated me! Since deciding on a career in corporate law, I have pursued a highly personalized program of legal study here at YLS.
Second semester 1L year, for example, YLS let me spread my wings and pick my own courses.

Levi Stewart, 17, is being charged as an adult after allegedly forcing female classmates to perform sex acts. Police say they began investigating the case after a report was made at the high school on Aug. The incidents allegedly happened over the past year or year and a half. The reports came to light after the school received an anonymous tip that a male student was going to fight Stewart because he was tired of the teen allegedly putting female students in fear so they would be forced into a sexual relationship with him, according to a probable cause affidavit.
While speaking with authorities, the affidavit says all of the girls claimed they were forced to perform sexual acts at Hummel Park. During one of the alleged incidents, a victim says Stewart urged her to perform oral sex on him and when she said no, “he grabbed her and kissed her” and then began unbuttoning her pants. She claims Stewart then forced her to perform oral sex. Another girl says Stewart forced her to perform sexual acts as well.
During one incident, the victim claims Stewart forced his hands down her pants. Stewart is facing three counts of level 3 felony rape for forced oral sex and forced digital penetration. High school administrators cooperated fully with law enforcement authorities throughout their investigation. It is our obligation and responsibility to protect the privacy of students, and we do not anticipate making further comment on this matter.
Any questions should be directed to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.

Law school is not for the faint of heart. Law school is a soul-sucking, but rewarding experience. It is not easy and it’s rarely fun, but if you’re determined enough to power through and earn a degree, you already know this and don’t scare easily.

Now my perspective is a little different than the other commenters. I never dated another law student. One, to avoid drama but two, when I wasn’t at school I liked having a break from the “law world” and of course, terrible law puns etc. It was nice spending time with someone not associated with that world on a regular basis. My law school is part of a huge university, so I’ve dated quite a few undergrads and some non-law grad students and so that was the best of both worlds – because, yeah I studied all the time, but they had work to do too so we could “spend time together” even if that meant just going somewhere to study together.
I also dated a few girls that weren’t in school anymore and just worked.

Campaign coverage At the law school, Romney counted among his classmates Susan Roosevelt, the great-granddaughter of former president Theodore Roosevelt, and Edward F. Everyone I talked to were all internally driven human beings.
They had fire in the belly. It wasn’t background in a socioeconomic sense. It was this drive to compete with yourself. It was expressed in any number of ways, but it was always there, always present. And Mitt’s got it big. But despite strongly resembling the elder Romney – full head of strikingly dark hair, square jaw, dazzling smile – he did little to draw attention to his family’s prominence.
